About this trip
The route runs north to south: arrive at Hue airport, leave from Da Nang, no backtracking. We take the old Hai Van Pass road rather than the tunnel so you can stop at the Hai Van Gate.
Flights are not included so you can fly in from anywhere; we can book seats on the group’s flight if you like.

Day by day
Phu Bai Airport – Hue Imperial City
Meet flights landing before 11:00. Afternoon at the Imperial City and Thien Mu Pagoda. Evening Hue folk music on the Perfume River.
Khai Dinh Tomb – Hai Van Pass – Hoi An
Morning at the tombs of Khai Dinh and Tu Duc. Over the Hai Van Pass with a stop at the gate. Check in to Hoi An; evening lanterns in the old town.
Tra Que village – Bay Mau coconut forest
Cycle through the fields to Tra Que and cook three Hoi An dishes. Afternoon basket-boat ride in the Bay Mau coconut forest. Free evening.
Ba Na Hills – Golden Bridge – Da Nang
Cable car up Ba Na and the Golden Bridge early, before the crowds. Afternoon on My Khe beach, seafood dinner.
Son Tra – Marble Mountains – departure
Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra and the Marble Mountains. Drop-off at Da Nang airport after 14:00.
